ABOUT: The Global Orphan Project (GO Project, for short) is a 501(c)(3) global orphan care ministry headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri. GO Project mobilizes local churches in some of the poorest areas on earth to care for orphaned and vulnerable children in their communities… children of last resort with no viable means of care.
GO Threads is a sustainability initiative of GO Project. GO Threads’ sewing centers are small businesses located in extremely poor areas of the world. The centers create local jobs, produce quality clothing, including children’s school uniforms, and generate profits to help sustain orphan care costs. Turning tragedy into opportunity, a unique global partnership with a key U.S. partner drives GO Threads. That partner? YOU!
Please send resumé and cover letter, along with internship for credit requirements, to Sonya Wedel.
